Once upon a time, there was a dignified, respected Irish Setter named Paddington. Paddington had lived many lives over the course of his 8.5 years. From dog modeling to ocean romping, Paddington’s adventures were many. Though he was especially enamored with the salty breeze and miles of sandy beach on Cape Cod, Paddington felt a special fondness for the place he spent much of his time: the familiar, comfortable pet hotel and spa, Boston’s Urban Hound. When he really thought about it, that was his favorite place in the world. At the Urban Hound, Paddington could nap, play and chase as he pleased, and he had successfully trained a particular staff member to do as he demanded: fetch him treats, give him belly rubs, tell him how beautiful he was. The Urban Hound was Paddington’s heaven on earth.

Even though he sometimes had to go to school at the Urban Hound, Paddington couldn’t get enough of the Hound. If he was being honest, the Urban Hound’s training programs had really changed his life the most. After spending time in the Structured Daycare program, Paddington could now walk by skateboarders, strollers and bicyclists without so much as a woof. He could also hold a down-stay like a professional (although, there were many times in which he simply fell asleep, but don’t tell the trainers!). He was so impressed with what the Urban Hound’s trainers had been able to do for him…So much so that he took the news of the Urban Hound’s excellent training and daycare services back to the Cape, where he found another Irish Setter like him.

This Irish Setter was named Finnegan. Finnegan Patrick, to be exact. Finnegan could often be found romping alongside Paddington in the water and lounging around on the warm beaches of Cape Cod, too. Paddington knew that Finnegan’s skills could stand to be sharpened, as well, and he shared all he knew about the Urban Hound with Finnegan. Immediately, Finnegan, taking Paddington’s lead, traversed over the rivers, through the woods, and into the city.

When the duo finally arrived at the Urban Hound, they were eagerly accepted into its pack, as Paddington knew they would be. They chased tennis balls, tussled and rolled around, and lazed in the sunshine until they’d had their fill. They also went to school. While Paddington continued his Structured Daycare curriculum, Finnegan went to Day School. Here, Finnegan got to learn all sorts of new skills to impress his best friend, and they became the most well-behaved, intelligent Irish Setter duo on earth. Finnegan could now hold a down-stay just as well as Paddington (and sometimes even without falling asleep), and gained some very important walking manners, too. And at the end of every day, Paddington and Finnegan could return to their friends and continue their earlier games until it was time to go home.

Paddington and Finnegan loved the Urban Hound so much, they each decided to come back every single day until the end of time.
