A Quick Book Recommendation

Woodsong might be the best book about dogs I’ve ever read.  If you haven’t checked it out… check it out.  Written by Gary Paulsen (Author of the classic young adult book, Hatchet), Woodsong is nonfiction about Gary’s time living with sled dogs and running them hundreds of miles as he worked as  a trapper in Northern Minnesota.  It culminates with his running of the Iditarod in Alaska.  Not a book about training dogs, but packed full of lots of insightful observations that will help any dog owner.  A quick, simple (and at times not so simple) read for all ages.
